Meet Our Providers

FAQ’s

Can I Call Anytime?

Yes, we do have a central phone number that you can call!

However, our providers are often with patients, in meetings, or handling other tasks—therefore, if you call us we may not always be able to pick up. Please don’t be afraid to leave a message; we love hearing from you!

If you want to ensure we are on the other line AND can dive into your questions about physical therapy, a specific provider, or Hive itself, scheduling a formal discovery call will be best practice! Scheduling your discovery call will allow providers to better focus on your needs at a convenient time for both of you.

You can schedule a call here.

Do I Have to Pay for This Call?
No, our discovery call is free!
If This Call Is Free, Why Does It Ask for My Credit Card?
This is due to our electronic medical record. We must require this for all online bookings in order to allow patients to self-schedule for paid services.
What Should I Expect From This Call?
This call is an opportunity for you to speak directly with your potential provider and share any concerns, conditions, and goals. It is a chance to ask specifically about the practice, see if we have experience with your problem, and just generally see how we can help.
Will I Receive Any Resources, Treatment, or Exercises From This Call?
Yes and no. We can provide answers to questions about superbills, our cash-based out-of-network clinic, or about insurance! We often will share our two helpful documents: Superbill Explanation and Does My Insurance Cover My Care through our electronic medical record.

Otherwise, no, you will not receive any treatment, exercises, or other resources through a discovery call, as it is not a formal evaluation.

For a formal evaluation, we will have you fill out intake forms and experience a physical examination. From that information, we will craft an individualized, comprehensive plan of care that we will execute over several sessions. This discovery call is really meant as a screening tool for both you and a Hive physical therapist to become more familiar with each other; from there, you can choose to work with Hive or not.

Can I Schedule Multiple Discovery Calls?
No, this is a one-time call, unless you are a former patient and you have a new condition, concern, or goal—and are unsure if Hive or a specific provider is the right fit for it. Otherwise, this call is reserved for new patients who are on the fence about pursuing physical therapy, and we want to keep spaces open for them to access us!
Is There Anything I Need to Prepare for This Discovery Call?

You should have:

  1. An idea of what your questions are for the provider,
  2. A general sense of what your primary concern is,
  3. An edited version of your medical history pertaining to the current problem, condition, or goal.

It is surprising how fast 20 minutes can go, so the more prepared you are, the more you will get out of the call. Additionally, ensure you are in a quiet, distraction-free area that allows you to speak freely and ask your questions as necessary.
