I've been working with BJ for quite a while now (since before he moved to the current location). I was a little dubious about the change to not taking insurance (it went from no cost to me to a lot more), but he is able to do much more during a session with considerably more flexibility (now it's my shoulder, now it's my knee), so this model gives better results. I feel like he's really knowledgable and has helped me through multiple problems. I've had a few occasions over the past 20 years to need PT, and this is by far the most positive experience I've had!

I had a great experience seeing Dr. BJ Nash after experiencing knee pain just two weeks before a marathon. He expertly evaluated my strength, stability, and mobility levels in both legs and assigned exercises to address an imbalance that likely led to injury in the first place. Additionally, he performed manual manipulation techniques to down-regulate the pressure around the knee for short-term relief, allowing me to run the marathon as planned.

Received therapy for my shoulder with Dr. Nash. He explained thoroughly the reason behind each exercise and stretch showing me, using both verbal and visual aides, how they can have a larger impact on the body.
BJ did a great job helping to explain the nuances of what he was doing and why. He also continues to check in and reach out to make sure that I continue to improve, even if we haven't seen each other for a while. I would highly recommend giving him chance!

Dr. Laura is an incredible wealth of knowledge and has taught me so much about how my body works! I came to her very stressed out and afraid, and she quickly calmed my nerves and helped find a solution and treatment plan. I never took anatomy in school, and she is so helpful with explaining how everything works and why I feel the way I do. She's very non-judgmental and open, I feel like I can tell her literally anything! Laura Meihofer is the 4th physical therapist I have had helping me with male tight pelvic muscle pain over the last 5 years. She has been the best, very knowledgable and extremely helpful.
Laura is great to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the pelvic floor as well as being skilled in pelvic floor PT. She is a good listener. Laura understands the importance of looking at the entire body. She makes diet and fiber/fluid intake recommendations. Finally, she is invested in seeing her clients succeed. After we had been working together, I saw a doctor who recommended a pelvic floor therapy that Laura does not do. I wanted to try that therapy and she helped me research other providers who did that therapy.

Laura is the best. I’ve been to both Mayo and ActivePT and have not met someone that matches her expertise and skill. Over the past couple of years I’ve been working through some complex issues involving pelvic floor, GI, and gynecology issues. She truly understands the little nuances that other providers can miss, but end up being important for treatment. She also approaches her practices with great kindness and humor. I'm a midwife and the functionality of the pelvic floor is a crucial (and often ignored) element to how moms deliver and how they recover in the postpartum period. After being stubborn about a health concern I was having, I finally broke down and scheduled a free consult. Laura was so incredibly kind and she really listened - oh, how it feels good to be seen and heard by a provider! Laura was able to identify my issue and put together an individualized treatment plan. I have seen numerous pelvic floor PTs and found Dr. Meihofer to be so amazing! Her care has essentially eliminated my need for her care! I've found Dr. Meihofer to be warm, professional, and ready to problem solve symptoms and concerns. As mentioned, I no longer NEED to see her, but I want to! I've enjoyed learning from her how to care for my body as well as just anatomy and kinetics of the body. As a healthcare provider who frequently refers to PT, especially pelvic floor PT, Dr. Meihofer is far superior in skills, knowledge, creativity, and compassion. Laura is so amazing! I never realized just how important my pelvic floor is. I always assumed you needed to be pregnant or have had kids to go to a pelvic floor therapist. I now know that’s not true and pelvic floor theraphy is for everyone! Also I had a ton of back pain that was exclusively tied to my pelvic floor. Laura literally helped to change my life so my body can move in the way it should. I feel so much relief and can increase the intensity and load in my workouts because of pelvic floor Theraphy.
